This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 I got through the first couple chapters and had to stop。 I liked the first one， but the dubious consent with rage / jace at the very beginning of this one immediately turned me off。 Don’t get me wrong， I love the hot stuff， but that just felt icky and made me not even read the rest of the book， which is not common for since since I usually stick it through to the end even if I’m not a good fan。 Even though I bet it does turn out okay， that was not cool at all。

Good God there are so many things I find wrong with this book。。。 We've got an abused fmc， who can't stand up for herself and is repeatedly violated by the people she thinks she loves。 That is not love， and the fact that it's romanticized as devotion， makes me mad。 Just to mention a few of the crazy things happening in this book: （view spoiler）[One of the guys forces himself on her multiple times， and she just makes excuses for him。 They switched out her birth control pills to get her pregnant， s Good God there are so many things I find wrong with this book。。。 We've got an abused fmc， who can't stand up for herself and is repeatedly violated by the people she thinks she loves。 That is not love， and the fact that it's romanticized as devotion， makes me mad。 Just to mention a few of the crazy things happening in this book: （view spoiler）[One of the guys forces himself on her multiple times， and she just makes excuses for him。 They switched out her birth control pills to get her pregnant， so she can't/won't leave them。 One of them planned how to trap her with them by stalking her for months。 Add in the fact that they get off on physically hurting and marking her and you've got yourself some crazy-ass psychopaths。 （Note: I am not trying to hurt anyones feelings nor their sexual preferences/kinks。 I know bdsm can be pretty extreme， and there is nothing wrong with that， if everyone involved are fully informed and have given consent。 In this book however I don't feel like that's the case and I think the guys take advantage of her and feel entitled to her） （hide spoiler）] 。。。more

Conclusion of the duet and it was a good conclusion and loved the ending connecting all worlds。 Rage still makes me mad for how he treated Thalia。 Lucas kept so many secrets and probably has more。 Cole is just the golden retriever that will protect his pack if need be。 Loved the growth but still wanted a little more from the story or to even see them as a happy family。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Um， wow。 So I finished the first book around 7 last night and IMMEDIATELY wanted to jump to this book only to find out it came out today 😭。 Well thanks to pregnancy insomnia I read this at 2 am 🥲I want to review the two books as one， because I feel like that’s what they should have been。 Both books are short enough to have been one book and really didn’t need to be split up into a duet。 With that being said！ This duet was so good。 Spice from the start！ I’m talking even in the prologue， and I’m p Um， wow。 So I finished the first book around 7 last night and IMMEDIATELY wanted to jump to this book only to find out it came out today 😭。 Well thanks to pregnancy insomnia I read this at 2 am 🥲I want to review the two books as one， because I feel like that’s what they should have been。 Both books are short enough to have been one book and really didn’t need to be split up into a duet。 With that being said！ This duet was so good。 Spice from the start！ I’m talking even in the prologue， and I’m pretty sure every chapter had spice in it。 If that is not your thing， please skip this duet。 Tia’s story is heartbreaking but she is strong。 Cole， Lucas， and Jace are great。 But really， Cole and Lucas dominate the spice scenes， and even the love story。 Jace is her childhood sweetheart， and after a separation， they find each other again。 But by the time they do， she’s already in a relationship with Cole and Lucas。 I feel like as good as this duet is， there was still room for more character/relationship development from all parties involved。 We see the most development with Lucas and I wanted to see more。 This duet， specifically the second book， is considered MFMM…but there is very little MM。 That is where more development could have occurred。 But considering the ending， perhaps this duet is not the end of Tia and her men’s story。 If you have not read The Secrets and Lies series， you’ll need to。 At least you’ll need to if this series does continue。 I’ve only read Bren from that series， and I’m glad I did。 This duet is same world and has an interconnecting story to The Secrets and Lies series， mostly with Bren。 This book was not wrapped up in the end， but kind of left open ended。 This makes me believe， hope， that there will be another series， or at least a book or two， of a crossover so we can get the full conclusion。 Definitely worth the read， but keep in mind the story is not finished。 Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ 。。。more
